Group presentations aren’t the easiest things to get your head around, particularly when they consist of a question so intensely complicated that we’ve spent about a month just trying to decipher it. None the less, after today I think we’re finally getting somewhere. Our chosen topic is the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) and we’re looking at how it works on a macro and micro level to provide sustainable policies to countries facing crises. So we’re a group of third year students trying to solve a major, ongoing, international policy problem. Simples,
Here is our presentation so far, we used Prezi, an online presentation site that is way more aesthetically pleasing than a standard powerpoint;
We still need to practice the structure, who’s clicking and scrolling, who’s introducing etc and we also really need to time it. I’m going to brave cue cards, we didn’t use them for our last presentation and I did regret it afterwards. It just seems so daunting at the time, especially on such a complex subject! Overall I’m pretty chuffed with it, it’s taken a loong time but hopefully it’ll go well next week and we’ll all get a (well deserved) good mark!
